Marketing In Retail: Designing experiences for communities and customers

  • CONVERGE 1224 Martin Street Nashville, TN 37203 USA (map)

As Nashville grows, local communities are continually evolving and being redeveloped to serve the ever changing population. While growth may sometimes negatively impact neighborhoods, it also provides opportunities to unite communities through public space and enhance neighborhoods with thoughtful retail.

Strategies for retail and public space should work together as parts of an ecosystem of experiences that blurs the line between retail and public space, adding value to the customer journey while driving retail success.

As neighborhoods evolve, so should retail. By utilizing mixed-use developments, reclaimed buildings, pop-up stores, and mobile markets that enhance public space, retailers can create unique customer experiences to foster greater engagement with the local community. Where e-commerce fails to provide authentic experiences rooted in local context, brick and mortar retailers can provide dynamic experiences for customers and communities through public space that is accessible to all.

Join us at the CONVERGE studio where we will explore creative methods for designing customer experiences that go beyond the walls of retail and into and public space where brands can build customer loyalty while supporting community growth. This roundtable discussion will be led by local businesses, marketers, and designers who will share their expertise and insights on how businesses and marketers can collaborate with urban designers, city planners, architects and developers to create environments that enhance experiences for customers and communities.

This event is hosted by CONVERGE, a nonprofit organization that creates socially conscious, project-based cultural programming that has a positive impact. Parking is available onsite and light food/drinks will be provided.
