Entertainment and Sports Marketing SIG: Strategies to Capture the Crowds

AMA Nashville’s Entertainment & Sports Marketing SIG is helping local business win big in 2019. Join us for a roundtable discussion to brainstorm strategies for local business to implement when major events come to town.

Nashville is hosting more big-name events and 2019 is going to be a big year! From sports, including one of football’s biggest weekends, hockey playoffs, and college basketball tournaments to music festivals, these events bring in visitors from across Middle Tennessee and beyond.

On Tuesday, February 5th, we invite local businesses and Nashville’s marketing community to join together to brainstorm ways to capture the crowds at these events and drive them to local businesses.

Local/Small Businesses:
Whether you’re a restaurant, a bar, a store, a museum, or activity-oriented business, we want you to leave with at least one actionable idea to implement this spring!

Marketers:
We need you to bring ideas!

Format:
We will be breaking into groups with a mix of local business and marketers for a facilitated discussion to generate ideas for social media, in-store promotions, email marketing, events, creative design that sells, grassroots marketing, online ads, and radio ads.

Light appetizers and beverages will be provided.

We hope you’ll join us for this results-driven event!

Thank you to WeWork for the use of their space!

Business to Business (B2B) SIG: Why People Buy - Beyond Features and Benefits

AMA Nashville's B2B SIG event!

Why do people buy, really? Of course, features and benefits play a part in decision making, but what is really at the heart of a buyer’s decision?

A keen understanding of why, when and how a buyer will buy your product or service can make the difference between marketing failure or market leadership. Hear from Joel Fay of Sandler Training to better understand why people (and businesses) buy and how they make decisions to part with their money.

Join us for coffee, breakfast and networking from 7:30 to 8:00AM. The program will begin around 8AM with plenty of time for questions and discussion until 9:30AM. Please park in Redpepper employee lots as marked in pink on the map – parking will be validated.

Speaker: Joel Fay
